As a bboy who is trying to juggle between a full-time job, blogging and breaking, I have always admired bboys who seem to be able to do it all. They seem to be able to do it effortlessly and they have their lives in order.
Today, I brought in bboy Airrico as a guest for my first ever interview on this blog. Airrico certainly fits in this mold as a bboy – he is a full-time IT professional and still commits himself to breaking at least twice a week.
Airrico is also married and he recently bought his own house in Perth. Airrico is from Zou Rock Crew, who is based in Perth. (Shout out also to Edit of Zou Rock, running his own sneaker store Cabinet Noir and his own street fashion label, Alreis Australia! He’s doing it right too yea!)
And you know what?
He is also the main organiser of bboy jams in Perth. His contribution to the development of the scene in Perth is unparalleled.
I think all of us can have something to learn from Airrico, especially those of us who are struggling to balance between a full-time job, our lives and breaking.
Here’s the interview:
Airrico is also hosting the WA Junior Breaking Championship 2015 in Perth on 12 September. If you’re in the area, do drop by to support the next generation of bboys!
Zou Rock Crew is also hosting their 12th year anniversary on October 31st in Perth. If you’re in Australia, get down to Perth to check out their jam! If you’re not, it’s time to check out flights to Perth.
P.S It’s my first time doing an interview so the quality may not be as great as I hoped it will be. I will continue to improve and bring great interviews to you.
