You must have gotten an unpleasant surprise when you first started learning bboy.
That footwork is a lot harder than you thought it was!
If you’ve already been breaking for a few months, you probably have felt it frustrating trying to move from position A to position B. Especially when no one told you what was wrong, or how to get out of the move.
It sucks to be stuck, doesn’t it.
I’ve been there too.
I even questioned which footwork direction I should be choosing when I first learnt.
But over time, other bboys have helped me to strengthen my fundamentals. I’ve also discovered a few tips by myself (by accident) that made my footwork feel and look better.
I realized that these tips could help any of my students. I just had to convert the tips into simple, actionable exercises that anyone could implement during practice. And as a result they can drastically improve their footwork standards!
So I’ve compiled together these exercises (a total of 7) in a video to aid your footwork.
Now, if you want to see changes in your footwork, you have to take action.
Make it a habit (3 weeks, minimum) to do these conditioning exercises for the first 30 minutes of your session. You’ll feel the difference in your footwork.
Type in the comments below,
a) which exercises you wish to include in your next practice, AND
b) how you are going to make it a consistent part of your training sessions.
